1. The information and material provided on this website is provided free of charge (except where otherwise stated) and solely for illustrative purposes. It is not intended to and does not establish a business, contractual or employment relationship with Short Stay in Cardiff.
2. The information, contents, text, images, including but not limited to html code, scripts, and photography is the property of Short Stay in Cardiff otherwise acknowledged) and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without our express, advance, written consent.
3. This site is provided "as is" and Short Stay in Cardiff expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind whether express or implied including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Short Stay in Cardiff or any of its employees or contractors be liable for any damages whatsoever in connection with the information or material on this website, including but not limited to actual, consequential, direct, exemplary, incidental, indirect, punitive or special damages.
4. Links on this site may lead to services or sites not operated by Short Stay in Cardiff. No judgement or warranty is made with respect to such other services or sites and Short Stay in Cardiff takes no responsibility for such other sites or services. A link to another site or service is not an endorsement of that site or service. Any use you make of the information provided on this site, or any site or service linked to by this site, is at your own risk.
5. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Reservations of accommodation at Short Stay in Cardiff are accepted subject to the following Terms and Conditions of Hire.
Contract: The Contract of Hire shall be between the Hirer and the Property Owners.
Rental: Bookings for persons or groups under 21 are only accepted at the discretion of the owners.
Bookings: Upon receipt of your enquiry by email or telephone, the property can be provisionally booked. This will be held for a period of three days only. If no booking form and deposit/payment is received within this period, then the provisional booking will be cancelled (a longer period will be given for overseas bookings).
Payment: Bookings made within 6 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full and in advance of occupation of the property. For a booking made more than 6 weeks before your holiday starts we require a deposit of seventy five pounds or 20% of full cost, whichever is the greater, which will be refunded in full if the reservation is cancelled more than 6 weeks prior to occupancy.
Balance: Upon payment of the deposit and subject to acceptance of the booking, the applicant becomes liable for the balance of the rent 6 weeks before for the period of letting. All payments are to be made in GB pounds, no other currency will be accepted.
Damage / Extra cleaning: All bookings are accepted on the condition that the property is left in the same state of repair, order and cleanliness both inside and outside as at the start of the stay, should you not have time to leave the house as you found it, there will be an additional charge of £30. It is agreed that the person who made the booking will pay for breakage and / or damage and cleaning if so required. All breakages should be reported to th owners and minor damage should be noted in writing at the termination of the stay.
Sleeping Capacity: The maximum number of people allowed is clearly stated in the description and will be as detailed in the booking form. Extra persons may be accommodated strictly at the discretion of the owners and will incur extra costs to the hirer.
Availability: If for any reason Short Stay in Cardiff should be unable to provide you with the property you have booked, we reserve the right to transfer you and your guests to another property which is very similar. If this property is unacceptable to you then both contractual parties are authorised to cancel the contract. In the unlikely event that no property is available through circumstances arising out of the control of the owner, then they may be forced to cancel the booking. The hirer will be advised of any such circumstances as early as possible, and will be refunded all monies paid, in full, with the hirer having no further claim against the owner.
Occupation times: Tenancies commence after 3 pm on the commencement date of the tenancy and terminate at 11 am on the leaving date. This is to ensure that the property can be properly cleaned and prepared.
Breakage/Cleaning/Key Deposit: The owners reserve the right to impose a returnable breakage / cleaning / key deposit of £100 to be returned in part or full within seven days of the group vacating the property.
Access: The Property Owners or their representatives shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.
Linen: The properties are equipped with bed linen for the number of beds provided. Towels are also supplied for the number of guests booked.
Smoking: Short Stay in Cardiff operates a strictly no smoking policy within the property.
Special Needs: If you have special requests or needs, you are responsible for advising us at the time of booking, although we cannot guarantee that any requests will be met. Failure to meet special requests will not be a breach of contract. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the property is completely suitable for your needs. Please note that if a particular requirement is not specified on the Website then it is not provided.
Car/Baggage: Car, baggage and personal belongings are at the Hirer's risk at all times, and no responsibility can be accepted for loss of or damage to any personal possessions or vehicle or its contents.
Cancellation and Insurance: If the hirer wishes to cancel the booking for any reason within 28 days of the start of the holiday, he should advise us immediately by telephone or e-mail followed by a confirmatory letter. Upon receipt of such letter (but without any obligation to the hirer) the owner will attempt to obtain a replacement letting, and if such a letting is obtained, will then refund to the hirer any monies paid. If the owners are unable to re-let, then the owners shall be entitled to retain all payments already made. We advise guests to arrange cancellation insurance with the insurer of your choice.
Complaints: Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. If however, you have any cause for complaint please contact the owners immediately if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. The owners cannot subsequently consider any complaints or enter into any correspondence about them unless this procedure has been followed.
Data Protection and Privacy: Information provided on Booking Forms will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party or used for any other purpose.
